'Pre-Trib' Rapture Is Biblically False
One of the many false doctrines
circulating within the Christian Church is the idea that before tribulation sets
in, Christ will return to 'snatch' believers from this Earth to rescue folks
from the coming tumultuous times. This is preached from pulpits and broadcast
over the Christian airways by many of the leading Pastors and Theologians of
today. And due to the repetitive indoctrination of this belief, many Christians
have indeed accepted this to be Scripturally 'accurate' without even referring
to the Bible, which is actually what one has to do in order to believe this
false doctrine; don’t search the Scriptures. So what does the Bible say
about this subject? Let’s look at the Word, the authority on everything
beginning with the prophecy of Daniel 12 verse 1;
And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as
never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that
time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the
book.
Clearly the Lord delivered this message about the coming tribulation to Daniel accompanying the last days of this Earth, and the 'deliverance' is after tribulation. The “book” in this verse is referring to the Lambs Book of Life as described in Revelation. Also, in verse 11, the “thousand two hundred and ninety days” coincide with Rev. 12:6 regarding the time period of the Two Witnesses, which further confirms that this prophecy is truly zeroed in on the last days. Jesus also confirmed this in Mat. 24:13 when he spoke of the “abomination of desolation” which Daniel also referred to in the same verse.
Jesus, the "author and finisher of our faith", confirmed great tribulation in the following verses in Matthew 24:21 & 22;
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
These words spoken by the Lord cannot be clearer regarding the subject. He said it’s going to get so bad, that those days must be cut short or else humans will simply annihilate each other completely! But, He will return during that time period in order to truly rapture those who remain standing. Rapture certainly is real and coincides with the resurrection of those dead in Christ as I Thes. 4:16-18 says;
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Clearly, this eliminates any notion that the Lord will return to perform some kind of a 'secret' rapture, because when He does appear “with power and great glory” (Mat. 24:30, Mk. 13:26, Lk. 21:27, Rev 1:7), it’s going to be a no-brainer! Jesus returns with His Reward (Rev 22:12), i.e. His awesome Architectural Kingdom, at which many will be filled with rejoicing while others, who have rejected Christ as Savior and Creator (and chosen to follow the beast, see Rev. ch. 17) will “mourn” as Jesus said (they will also flee to the caves and elsewhere to try and hide, see Rev. 6:16).
Referring back to the Scripture in Thessalonians, we are certainly to comfort one another with the fact that when things get so bad, even unto the point of death, Jesus is our hope for eternal salvation. Jesus encouraged us with this; “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (Jn. 16:33). So if we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, He will see us through the times ahead. Many Christians are already facing cruelty and death for their faith in Christ, and we sit here in our comfort waiting for some kind of special 'release' from coming tribulation? Have we become Christian wimps? Did Jesus run away from His executioners? Of course not, Jesus set the example to love our enemies even unto death and obeyed the Father. One only needs to carefully read through Revelation to know that indeed the Church is here during the last days of the tribulation period of this Earth. Otherwise, it’s truly not tribulation! Heads unfortunately are going to roll for the Word of God and for our testimony in Jesus;
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: (Rev. 6:9).
Satan’s fall of Babylon (confusion) will usher in the bumpy road for Christ Followers the world over. Satan’s lies are extraordinarily deep, and he has certainly used false “science” to cover up the truth regarding God’s Creation, the Noahic Flood, and the Scriptural and scientific fact that the Earth is indeed motionless in space and that it is truly the sun that orbits the Earth in a 24-hour period. Once these lies come tumbling down (along with false Church doctrines), billions will be woken up to many undeniable truths. In light of the false “pre-trib” rapture having taken hold in many Churches, one can understand why this doctrine has been spoon-fed to believers, because Satan does not want Christ Followers to be prepared for such times and thus indeed remain standing. Therefore, this “doctrine of devils” has made many in the Church numb to Scriptural truths that clearly debunk any “pre-trib” rapture wishes. If we chose to follow Christ, persecutions are already upon us; “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (II Tim. 3:12).
Yes indeed the Lord is coming and His appearing will be awesome. But until then, it's time for the Church to “put off the works of darkness” (Rm. 13:12) and prepare see the Lord and His Awesome Kingdom!For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Above: East-to-west startrails. The stars orbit Earth on perfectly calculated paths in only 23 hrs. 56 min. and 4 seconds. They move within the architectural starry dome of the firmament (firmament means dome in Hebrew) as they are for "signs and seasons" and to provide "light upon the earth" as described in Genesis 1. Due to their orbital speed and distance, "science" cannot see past them. Therefore the 'agencies' cleverly use computer-generated images in vain efforts to show the world that what we truly observe in the heavens is an 'optical illusion' because we are taught that the earth "rotates", yet God Almighty says it is indeed fixed. These are not distant 'galaxies' and 'X-O planets', they are stars. These stars will fall just as Jesus said before His return;
And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. Isaiah 34:4
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Matthew 24:27
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. Revelation 6:13
Do we believe in the Words of our Savior and Maker who is the "Word became flesh", or false doctrines and bogus "science"???
